MK3 Golf/Jetta 2.8L VR6 Power Steering Hose Kit
The power steering system subjects the hoses to a lot of stress with high pressures and pressure fluctuations. If you’re tired of replacing expensive stock hoses that aren't up to the task and want to upgrade instead to -AN racing style braided hoses, this kit is for you! These hoses are constructed with a Teflon extruded inner hose combined with a stainless braided cover and are available either with natural silver colored steel or black anodized aluminum ends for long lasting durability. This will truly be the last power steering hose you will ever need to purchase!
Includes all necessary hardware and adapters for full compatibility with the original/OEM power steering connections at the pump, reservoir, and steering rack. Note: included hardware & adapter styles may differ slightly vs what is pictured above but will be equal or better in quality and functionality.
Two different hose end styles are available for this kit: steel, with a polished type finish (pictured above) or black anodized aluminum. The steel version is more durable and is what we recommend if this is your first time working with AN racing style hoses and fittings. For those experienced working with -AN hoses and fittings that would like a nicer appearance and avoid the chance of longer-term corrosion on the hose ends in salt climates, the black anodized aluminum hose ends might be a more attractive option (note: if you order aluminum ends, please use care during assembly to not overtighten your fittings, which can distort seals and cause leaks).
